In wonder and awe

Several years ago, well actually quite a few years ago, I was privileged to do an Outward-Bound Course at Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds. My course was run in July, so it was pretty cold     especially swimming in the sounds. One of the activities we did was a three-day tramp which coincided with the weekend. During that time my group or watch as they were called discovered that I was training to be a pastor, so they asked me to lead a prayer on the Sunday. On the Sunday morning, we were high up in the Nelson Lakes mountains with snow on the ground and crystal blue skies. It was a stunning sight and there with a bunch of non-Church goers I spoke about God and led them in prayer. No liturgy, no music, no church trappings and yet it was a deeply worshipful experience - a moment when earth and heaven touched.

Perhaps you too have experienced such a situation a moment when your spirit encounters God in a way that leaves you speechless and in awe. Maybe you never have but would like to. If so, then we would love to walk with as you explore what that might look like for you.

Why not check out the Who is Jesus link on the page menu.

If you are struggling at this time and just need someone to talk to, then please email us at office@pb.org.nz or call 0223075225 and we will contact you.

This Sunday @ 10am This coming Sunday we continue our series exploring how we can deepen our relationship with God.

A children’s programme is available and a crèche for younger children.

To join with us on air, tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
