A deeper life

To go deeper or to deepen our relationship with someone requires us to make it more intense, or more real. It requires a willingness to engage with the other person, to get to know them better. Doing so can lead to a relationship where trust is high and where there is a willingness to share more of ourselves. Jesus invites us to deepen our relationship with him and he uses the metaphor of a vine and its branches. He is the vine, the central trunk which has its roots buried deep in the ground and we, we are the branches dependent on him for our nurture and life. If we cut ourselves off, then eventually the life of Jesus stops flowing within us. What might you do to deepen your relationship with Jesus? How might you allow his life to flow through you?

This Sunday @ 10am This coming Sunday we begin a new series exploring how we can deepen our relationship with God.

A children’s programme is available and a crèche for younger children.

To join with us on air, tune in to Coast Access Radio 104.7FM from 10.00am or livestream at http://coastaccessradio.org.nz...

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.

Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
