The writer of Psalm 19 makes a pretty audacious claim in the first opening lines.
The heavens keep telling the wonders of God, and the skies declare what he has done. Each day informs the following day; each night announces to the next. They don't speak a word, and there is never the sound of a voice. Yet their message reaches all the earth, and it travels around the world. (Psa 19:1-4 CEV)
Perhaps you have seen some of the images taken by the Hubble and Webb telescopes that show a magnificent universe far bigger and more majestic than we can imagine. On a clear night it is easy to see why the Psalmist looked at the stars and his thoughts were drawn to the one who created it all. And while the creation is awesome, in the end we worship the one who created it all, not the creation itself. So this week, on a clear night, why not look at the stars and allow yourself to be drawn to the one who made it all.

Mainly Music – Wednesdays from 10.00am during school terms. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It is also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.
Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
