This week is the fourth week of Advent, and the theme is Love. This week is a reminder that God ‘moved into the neighbourhood’, became one of us, to show us just how much he loves us.
Sometimes we may think of God as a big schoolmaster waiting for us to make a mistake so he can punish us. Such a view goes against what the Biblical story tells us about God. John, one of the Apostles, wrote
"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. (Joh 3:16-17)
This Christmas as you remember again the story of a baby born in a manger take time to remember that God loves you and desires to build a relationship with you. Maybe this Christmas would be a good time to make that happen.

Wednesdays from 10.00am. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It’s also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.
