I wonder what it is that defines your life. Maybe a desire for justice? Maybe concern for the vulnerable? Maybe a desire to be wealthy? Maybe wanting to have fame and fortune? All of us have something that defines who we are, and which others see in us. A man of his word, someone light fingered, a dirty old man are all expressions used by others to define someone. So, when others look at you, what would they use to define you?
Joseph is one of the few characters in the Old Testament whose character is one of integrity, honesty, and servanthood. His life has no hidden vices or skeletons in the closet.
Our website carries the tag line ‘Where faith defines life’. It’s our hope that our faith in Jesus defines the way we live so that others might look at us and see people who live lives of integrity, honesty, and servanthood. Lives defined by Jesus.
If you are struggling at this time and just need someone to talk to, then please email us at office@pb.org.nz or call 0223075225 and we will contact you.
This Sunday @ 10am we will conclude our series looking at the life of Joseph. Come and join us as we explore the life of this pivotal character from the Old Testament. This week we will be looking at the final chapter of Joseph’s life and thinking about the life he lived.
A children’s programme for children aged 3-8 is available during the service and a crèche for younger children.

Mainly Music – Wednesday from 10.00am. This programme is a fun way for parents and their children to spend quality time together based around music and movement. It is an opportunity for us as a church to connect with and offer something back to the community of which we are a part. It’s also a way for us to demonstrate care, concern, and support for those with young children.
Small Groups. We have several groups meeting. Contact the church office@pb.org.nz if you would like to join one.
